How does it work?
Power Plate produces natural reflexes
The human body has natural reflexes such as palpebral reflex, touch
reflex and stretch reflex. The stretch reflex is the reflex that is
induced when one doctor strikes your knee, it makes you stretch out your
leg. Power-Plate generates a continuous stretch reflex to all affected
muscles. This reflex is called tonic vibration reflex.
Power-Plate generates 30-50 reflexes per
second
As you exercises, the vibrating plate stretches your muscles and
the so-called tonic vibration reflex is activated. The plate vibrates
30-50 cycles per second, and contracts the muscles and stretches out
reflexively at the same speed.
Power Plate activate 95-97% of muscle
fibers in muscles
Power Plate enables almost 100% of muscle fibers in the entire
muscle group is trained. Conventional weight training normally enables
30-40% of the fibers. With the Power Plate you will be able to train the
muscle groups that often are difficult to train i.e. pelvic floor and
deep back muscles. These disks hold together and stabilize the spine,
resulting in better posture.
